The power of reframing

I am a facilitator at “This Is My Story” because I believe storytelling lets us reframe our experiences: by changing how we tell what happened, we can turn a setback into a lesson, a fear into courage and a struggle into growth.

For kids, this is powerful. Becoming the author of their own story teaches them that they can't always control what happens, but they can choose how they see it and what comes next, which builds resilience for life.

Kids who practice storytelling early grow into adults who communicate with confidence, understand themselves and others, and know how to shape their own narrative in work and in life.
